The sturdy cotton/acrylic blend of Cairns and the unique chain construction knits up a beautiful fabric and you'll love the colorful results of blending two colors in mosaic design. 

Construction notes: The projects starts with a square bottom knit flat. Stitches are then  picked up along all edges to knit the body of the bag in the round. The mosaic creates the pretty basket weave effect. The handles are double thickness for sturdiness.

Techniques used: knit in the round, pick up stitches, slip stitches, reading pattern. 

Recommended needle size: US size 7 circular needle, 24” length (32” length for large bag)
